US Poker Open 2024: Dan Smith Nails Event 3


A late arrival to the US Poker Open 2024, Dan Smith made quick work of getting his victory of the series. Smith finished in first place from a field of 84 entries to win Event #3: $10,100 NL Hold’em for $235,200. Smith topped Rodger Johnson in heads-up play.

After winning Event #2: $10,100 NL Hold’em, Jesse Lonis finished in fourth place in Event #3. That allowed Lonis to pad his point total atop the series leaderboard, where he sits in first place with 332 points. Rodger Johnson finished in second place in Event #3 and has booked cashes in the first three events of the series. He’s currently second on the series leaderboard with 257 points.
