Launched in 2021, U Series Of Poker (USOP) hosted its first competitive tournament on an app online. Citing its success, the brand moved to live events and held its first-ever live tournament series in 2023. Since then, they have successfully hosted multiple events with mega prize pools.
One of the most eyed events in any USOP series is the Main Event, as it has the highest GTD on offer. With the USOP Main Event winners making a name for themselves in the Asian poker circuit, let’s look at all the Main Event winners of USOP events.

The first tournament ever hosted by U Series of Poker was at the start of 2023, with the USOP Taiwan 2023 event taking place at the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club). The Main Event produced 1,043 entries, a record for the biggest international event turnout in Taiwan, while ballooning from TWD 10 Million to a jaw-dropping TWD 18,210,800.

Edwin Dela Cruz won the inaugural USOP Taiwan Series Main Event to pocket TWD 3,060,000 (~$100.8K) in winnings. The Filipino player is the first ever USOP live festival Main Event champion who walked away with the title and the trophy.
After a successful outing in Taiwan, USOP shifted to another Southeast Asian country and organised USOP Vietnam 2023. The event took place between 14th and 24th April 2023 at the Crown Poker Club, with the Main Event taking place between 20th and 24th April 2023.
Local player Đại Ngọc Nguyễn got the better of Singapore’s Benjamin Sai at heads-up to clinch the USOP Vietnam Main Event, ending his hunt for a major win after nearly four years. Nguyễn walked away with the USOP Main Event trophy along with VND 3,550,000,000 (~$151,100) in winnings.
Indian poker player Vishal Ojha shipped the coveted USOP 2023 Hanoi Main Event, which took place at the Crown Poker Club between 1st and 11th September 2023. The pro turned the table against Tan Xiao Hui to nail the prestigious title and the numero uno spot at the highly anticipated USOP 2023 Hanoi Main Event. An online reg, the Indian pro battled a record-breaking field of 1,336 to pocket a pay cheque of VND 4,952,000,000 (~₹1,70,69,357).
Singapore’s The Naing nailed the coveted Main Event of the USOP Da Nang 2023, played at the Furama Resort between 17th to 27th November 2023. He was heading into the final table as the chip leader with a stack of 15,700,000 chips. Naing continued to keep his opponents in check and sailed through to victory. He earned a pay cheque of VND 5,720,000,000 (~$2,35,973), which generated a final prize pool of VND 34,810,800,000 (~$1,434,000), citing 1,595 entries.
With USOP set to host multiple events in 2024, it remains interesting to see who adds their name to this coveted list.
