TSM India Bids Adieu To Its PUBG Roaster

Team Solo Mid India said goodbye to their PUBG Mobile line-up in India through an Instagram post yesterday. TSM Entity was without a doubt, the most aggressive PUBG Mobile squad. TSM’s PUBG Mobile line-up includes the following names: Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral, Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andare, Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, Vivek “Clutchgod” Aabhas and Abhishek “ZGod” Choudary.

“Today we’ve agreed to mutually part ways with our original PUBGM roster, who’ve decided to pursue a new challenge. We’ll forever be grateful for what we achieved together. Good luck with your next team. We truly believe in the future of esports in India and we are here to stay. The support since we’ve arrived has been incredible and we’re excited for our future,” stated an Instagram post by TSM.

Since the release of PUBG Mobile, the esports ecosystem has been rapidly expanding throughout the world. PUBG Mobile, like CS:GO and Dota 2 in PC gaming, transformed the mobile esports industry with prize pools running in millions.

Many international esports companies began to invest in India after witnessing the tremendous growth of PUBG Mobile esports. TSM first joined the Indian esports market in 2020 by acquiring Entity Gaming’s PUBG Mobile roster. The brand chose to stay in India after watching the team’s excellent success in the PUBG Mobile Pro league and PUBG Mobile World league.

PUBG Mobile was relaunched as Battlegrounds Mobile India by Krafton. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 was just announced with a prize pool of 1 crore. As per news reports, Godlike esports is expected to purchase the ex-TSM Entity roster.
