Ever since his Twitter fights and grudge match with Matt Berkey, Nik Airball has made sure to stay in the headlines for both the wrong and right reasons. He has once again made heads turn at a recent game at Hustler Casino Live.
Airball asked poker pro Tony G to go back to Santa Monica on his bike. The two were involved in a huge pot, wherein Tony held pocket aces, and Airball had suited connectors (T ♦ 9 ♦ ). Huss raised the blinds to $6K, from the UTG +1 position with pocket queens. Airball calls from the button, and Tony, from the big blind 3-bets to $40K. The two players call to see K ❤ 8 ♣ 7 ♠ flop.
Tony bet $40K, and found a caller in Huss. Airball tanked before raising it to $150K. Tony calls, and Huss immediately folds. The turn shows a 6 ♣ completing his straight, cracking Tony’s aces. The latter tanks before folding his aces and gets up from his chair frustrated.
Nik Airball: "On your bike, Tony. You and your aces. Back to Santa Monica."

He walks out of the glass room saying, “I folded aces!” Tony seems so shocked by what just happened that he walks in again saying, “I folded aces, that’s fucking sick.” He then goes on to say “Okay, I quit!” “I played. It’s okay, I quit! I played,” he says and walks out of the room again.
Airball, who is clearly overjoyed, says, “On your bike, Tony. You and your aces. Back to Santa Monica,” gathering his chips. It was clearly a great fold by Tony, although he may not have liked it at that moment.
Airball, on the other hand, was seen throwing muck at Matt Berkey earlier this month during their Twitter and podcast war. The two played a match, wherein Berkey clearly won, and Airball accepted his defeat. Post his loss he apologised to Berkey for everything he had said. But it seems like Airball is in his element now, and that Versace outfit looked every bit RAD!
