With news of local Twitch servers going online in Mumbai and Chennai, Twitch streaming may just hit it off in India. While Twitch is a platform dedicated solely to streaming, due to the lack of local servers many streamers in the country opted for platforms like YouTube and Facebook to showcase their content. Now, with the possibility of Twitch establishing its servers in India, many aspiring poker streamers are looking to make it big on the platform. Here are a few tips that you should take note of in order to become a successful poker streamer on Twitch.
Often when one tries to build a good presence on their channel, streamers need to be regular and consistent when it comes to uploading or streaming their content. When you just start streaming, it is more likely that you will see less people attending your streams but don’t lose hope. Make sure that the content you’re producing whether it’s telling a story or talking about different strategies or hands, gives your viewers a reason to come back. Planning your content even if it’s just a brief outline and being conscious of what you’re putting out there are crucial.
Let’s be real, streaming is not easy especially when you want to build a career out of it. And while the job looks like a piece of cake, there’s things like hard work, time, and patience that are involved in the process. To reach success, streamers need to make sure that they are putting their efforts in and to understand that success doesn’t come overnight. Just have a goal and work towards it. Just remember the more time you give yourself on camera the better it will be for you.
If you’re thinking of starting a Twitch channel, don’t wait to get everything right the first time itself, just start streaming. You don’t need to have the best equipment or the best background when starting, just make do with what you have. Things will get better as you go along. Don’t strive for perfection, strive to put your best out there every time you’re in front of the camera.
