Thursday Round Up: Adithya NG Ships The Godfather For ₹6,12,500


When the high value tournaments started rolling on Thursday, the online felts were once again set ablaze. Many players were grinding hard on platforms like Adda52, PokerBaazi, and PokerStars. With players shipping big tournaments on these brands, let’s take a look at the full action that went down.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

As a marquee tournament of Adda52, Godfather was flooded with poker players who were eager to clinch the title spot. The ₹5,500 buy-in tournament is a favourite among players. The playing field was pretty competitive. Many players gave the tourney their best shot, but only the top 49 places were paid a min-cash ₹13,750.

Securing the top position and ₹6,12,500 in prize money was player Adithya NG aka ‘Rlox1’ who defeated Sandeep Rajora aka ‘homelite.’ Rajora took home ₹3,62,500 in prize money.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Summit greeted 256 total entries into its fold and reached a final prize pool of ₹19,20,000 thereby crushing its initial prize pool. The final prize pool was good news for the top 27 players who made the money. With each of them pocketing a min-cash of ₹15,940.

The high-energy action of the tournament was brought to a close when Mohammad Azhar aka ‘chandlerbing’ got into a deal with Chirag Sodha aka ‘miyagi.’ Both of them added ₹3,90,000 and ₹3,78,000 respectively to their bankrolls.

Highroller – ₹10 Lakh GTD

The action on PokerStars was on an all-time high with its Highroller tournament in a knockout format. With bounties placed on every player’s head, the tournament was super intense. A total of 163 entries played with the top 17 getting paid a min-cash of ₹9,390. The final prize pool was recorded as ₹11,41,000 which surpassed the tourney’s initial guarantee.

Battling all the competitors was player ‘sumit_5011’ who defeated Siddharth Ranshevre aka ‘wAkAzAwAkA’ and won a bounty of ₹1,67,450 and ₹1,03,285 in prize money. In runner-up position, Ranshevre managed to get a bounty worth ₹10,937 and a reward of ₹1,03,285 from the prize pool.

  • Min-Cash: ₹9,390
