While the COVID-19 pandemic closed down all forms of in-person events and activities across the world, now slowly live poker tournaments are making their comeback. Global online poker platform 888poker is all set to revive its live poker scene in the coming month.
Starting from 16 to 22 August, the mid-stakes circuit 888poker LIVE will be hosted in Bucharest. This live poker event will be held in association with PokerFest, which is responsible for running all the major live poker tournaments in Romania.
There will be 15 poker tournaments that will have buy-in amounts ranging from €45 to €1,400. The big blind ante format and a 30-second shot clock will feature in all the live tournaments. Following the tradition closely is the crème de la crème of the poker fest—€888 Main Event (ME) which will take place from 18–22 August. The Bucharest live poker fiesta will have three starting days and the ME champion will win an 888Live package along with the lucrative prize money.
