Sriharsha Doddapaneni Will Enter Day 3 Of The BSOP Bahamas ME As Chip Lead


The 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) series has been going on in full steam at the Baha Mar Hotel and Resort in Nassau. The two Indians who were grinding at the $1,100 BSOP Bahamas Main Event are Rajat Sharma and Sriharsha Doddapaneni. As per the latest update, the former is the chip lead at the end of Day 2.

Day 3 of the $1,100 BSOP Bahamas Main Event will see Doddapaneni lock horns with his rivals with a stack of 1,087,000 chips. The Main Event welcomed a total of 460 entries across two days and generated a prize pool of $466,200. Day 2 resumed with 304 players who played until the field was down to the final 37. Of these, the top 63 players were assured a min-cash of $1,850. Similarly, the remaining 37 players have assured themselves a min-cash of $2,350. However, all of them will have their eyes on the $86,650 that awaits up top.

Doddapaneni had a volatile day at the top, where he kept swinging among the top stacks. He eventually managed to bag a hefty lead by the end of the day wherein he grabbed a good amount of chips from his rivals. Behind him is Germany’s Christian Rudolph with 974,000 chips (97 BB), and Maria Konnikova with the third-highest stack of 773,000 chips (77 BB) in third.

Among the other 37 survivors are some notable names like Women in Poker Hall of Fame inductee Maria Ho, Jonathan Little, Dmitriy Reznikov and Elliot Smith among others. 

Sriharsha Doddapaneni WSOP

Doddapaneni has an illustrious live and online poker record. He has several India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) titles to his name. The highlight among these are the IOPC Highroller and IOPC Super High Roller which he nailed successfully in the same January 2021 edition. Owing to his skills and gameplay, he is always the crowd favourite in live poker events. 

He is also seen grinding at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) over the past couple of years. He has a total of 17 cashes at the WSOP in just two years. He boasts of a total WSOP earnings of $397,580.
