#FlashbackFriday: When Sriharsha Doddapaneni won Spartan Poker’s tournament ‘Two of a Kind’

Poker pro Sriharsha Doddapaneni became the talk of the town ever since he shipped the India Online Poker Championship’s (IOPC)  featured tournaments. Doddapaneni won the Highroller and Super Highroller and took home a pay cheque of INR 21. 55 Lakh and INR 33.92 Lakh respectively during IOPC January 2021. He also won several other tournaments in this series

Not many are aware that this champion had a humble beginning as a poker player. Doddapaneni has been grinding since a few years now and had some notable victories in the past as well. We are reminiscing the time when this poker pro shipped the Two of a Kind,  feature tournament by Spartan Poker, and what better time than to do it in our #FlashbackFriday series. As per the format, the Two of a Kind INR 15 Lakh GTD tournament was one of the signature tourneys which Spartan Poker hosted on thttps://bit.ly/3dlrewnhe first Sunday of every month. The tournament offered INR 15 Lakhs in guarantee for the top two spots.

This tournament had a buy-in of INR 5,500 and an impressive 868 entries. Poker pro Doddapaneni shipped the tournament along with player ‘iwillbluff’ and the both of them won INR 15 Lakh each. This particular tournament had most of the sharks competing to reach the top two spots. From Indian’s first WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant, to Goonjan Mall,  and Anirban Das were competing. According to Hendon Mob database, Doddapaneni has $144, 396 in total live earnings. This pro has shipped several featured tournaments online, namely, Adda52 Whale, AOPS Hold’em Highroller, PokerStars Winter Series, Spartan Poker’s SSS Elite Highroller among other titles.
