Shaun Deeb Takes A Dig Allen Kessler’s 4th WSOPC Win

Allen Kessler won his fourth World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) ring last week. Nicknamed ‘Chainsaw,’ Kessler defeated a field of 57 entrants for a $6,314 payday in the $400 buy-in Stud-8/Omaha-8 event at Graton Resort and Casino in Northern California.

Despite being a relatively low buy-in event with a small field, it was a proud moment for Kessler as he ended his nearly decade-long drought. However, Shaun Deeb decided to rain on his parade by stating, ‘You won a tourney for 6k in the middle of no where and think it proves something?’

Responding to Deeb’s negative comment, Allen Kessler reverted by stating how he can’t control the field size or the buy-in. He wrote, “Well it was only x buyin or x number of entries ….” (sic)

Despite breaking the 100 cashes mark in bracelet events, ‘Chainsaw’ is still chasing his first WSOP bracelet. He finds himself slotted sixth on the all-time combined WSOP brand cashes. Kessler has 236 cashes in WSOP events, trailing behind Ian Steinman (239), Daniel Negreanu (245), Engel (291), Arkadiy Tsinis (345), and Roland Israelashvili (432).  It would be interesting to see if the poker pro manages to finally lay hands on the golden bracelet and get the monkey off his back as soon as possible.
