Santhosh Suvarna Plays The Sickest Cooler Imaginable 

Over the last few years, Hustler Casino Live has often produced some of the most entertaining hands for poker enthusiasts. The poker brand did not disappoint and has recently shared a video which displays one of the sickest coolers imaginable. 

If that wasn’t enough, it includes two of the biggest high stakes players, namely Santhosh Suvarna and Daniel Cates, with the pot valued at an astonishing $533,000. Let’s look at how the hand panned out on Hustler Casino Live. The video starts with Suvarna holding Ks Qs while Daniel ‘Jungleman’ Cates holds 8c 7s. The board has popped up 4h 9c Tc on the flop, with the 5d as the turn card.

The action goes to ‘Jungleman’, who bets $50K and gets a call from Suvarna. It is worth noting that both the players were hoping to get their straight and needed a Jack to hit their desired hand. The poker gods smiled upon them as the Jd popped up following Suvarna’s call, giving both the players exactly what they would have been praying for. 

Both players hit their straight but didn’t know what cards their opponent held as the commentators went berserk, knowing what awaited this particular hand. In what seemed to be an entirely reasonable move, Cates decided to move all in and shove his remaining stack of $156K into the pot. With a snap call, Suvarna quickly distributed his stack and tallied Cates’ bid, with the pot value rising to a staggering $533,000.

After showing his cards, Suvarna won the pot with a better straight and added $268K as winnings. While we have often seen poker players lose money to a better hand, a higher straight is quite painful especially in a high-value pot. Check out the entire video of the hand below.
