Rohit Begwani Turns Runner-Up In USOP Da Nang 2023 Turbo Event

The U Series of Poker (USOP) is making its final stop of the year in Vietnam, with the USOP Da Nang 2023 taking place between the 17th and 27th of November 2023 at the Crown Poker Club in the scenic Furama Resort. Indian players Ashish Ahuja, Amit Kaushik, Meherzad Munsaf, Deepankar Gupta, Avneesh Munjal, Anmol Mehta, Vaibhav Temani and Vishal Ojha were seen grinding at USOP Da Nang 2023.

Amid all the intense poker action, the Indian contingent has shined bright so far at the event. Rohit Begwani, who was playing in the Turbo event secured the second place to win VND 46.90 Million (~₹1.61 Lakh) for his performance.

The Indian poker pro fell short to Liew Yew Tong, who won the event and pocketed VND 79 Million alongside the trophy. It is worth noting that Begwani made a solid comeback after remaining absent from the live scoreboards since 2017. Although he missed out on the coveted USOP trophy, he managed to record his personal best cash and highest ever live tournament score with the Turbo win.
