Rajesh Rajpopat and Nikhil Jalan Take Down WPT Prime India 2023 Teams NLH Freezeout Title

Another event at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime India 2023 has concluded and crowned new champions in Rajesh Rajpopat and Nikhil Jalan at the Teams NLH Freezeout event. Being one of the most interesting and unique events on the schedule, it garnered a lot of attention and response from the players.

A total of 43 pairs or teams participated in this ₹30,000 buy-in event. Out of these only the top six teams took home a portion of the ₹11,73,900 prize pool. Several pros and well-known players like Siddhanth Kripalani, Aditya Sushant, Jasven Saigal, Zarvan Tumboli, Romit Advani, and Radhika Shankar among others were seen grinding at this event.

Finally, the Rajpopat-Jalan team beat Clinton Tavares and Pratyush Ladha in a very short heads-up to clinch the title. To know how the final winning hand played out click here. The winning duo walked away with a WPT title, the WPT trophy and a top prize of ₹4,58,000. On the other hand, the runner-up team, Tavares-Pratyush, took home a pay cheque of ₹2,70,000.
