The weekend was not short of poker action as brands hosted their marquee high-value tournaments. Players flocked to Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, PokerStars, and Adda52 for their poker grind. Here are the top winners of Sunday’s tournaments.
The Sunday High Roller on Spartan Poker pulled in a total of 91 entries. From this 51 were unique players, 16 were re-entries, and 24 were re-buys. The event had a buy-in worth ₹55,000 and a ₹50 Lakh guarantee. The top 9 players were paid and the min-cash was ₹1,50,000. Player ‘Metamorphosis’ shipped the event for ₹14,57,500. The runner-up was Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey 07’ for ₹10,50,000.
The Sun Poker Nite event on Spartan Poker offered a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and had a ₹1,100 buy-in. There were 914 total entries, out of which 438 were unique players, 168 were re-entries, and 263 were re-buys. The top 95 players finished in the money and the min-cash was ₹2,950. Player ‘Titanick’ shipped the event for ₹1,90,800. Player ‘David2000’ was the runner-up for ₹1,17,800.
Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack saw 365 entries participate in the event. From this 174 were unique players, 71 were re-entries, and 120 were re-buys. The ₹11,000 buy-in tournament surpassed its ₹35 Lakh guarantee. The final prize pool was ₹36,50,000 and the top 31 places were paid. The min-cash stood at ₹32,120. Poker pro Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ clinched the title and had a payday of ₹7,71,975. Mystery player ‘Meshuggee4’ was the runner-up for ₹5,19,760.
Spartan Poker’s Deepstack Turbo welcomed 309 entries to the field. This number was made up of 157 unique players, 36 re-entries, and 116 rebuys. The ₹15 Lakh guarantee tournament had a buy-in worth ₹5,500 and surpassed its initial guarantee. The final prize pool was ₹15,45,000. The top 27 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹15,450. Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ took home the title and pocketed ₹3,42,217 in prize money. The runner-up was Saransh Garg aka ‘TerrorGandhi$’ who walked away with ₹2,30,977 in winnings.
PokerBaazi’s BTS Main Event had a ₹1 Crore guarantee and a buy-in of ₹4,400. The event had five starting flights and a total of 2,446 entries participated across the flights. 372 entries survived to Day 2 of the Main Event and 372 places were paid. The min-cash of the event was ₹6,000. The tournament ended in a three-way deal. The title was taken by Samyak Sethi aka ‘stonedurrr’ for ₹10,07,000. The runner-up was Neelakantan Murali aka ‘difsripp007’ for ₹9,77,000. In third place was player Aman Madan aka ‘one2die4’ who went home with ₹8,36,000.
PokerBaazi’s Sunday Prime was a hit with players as it generated a guarantee crushing prize pool worth ₹29,48,000. The ₹4,400 buy-in event had 393 runners, and 344 re-entries. The top 90 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹6,490. Jaikishan Jangid aka ‘royalking7424’ shipped the tournament and had a payday worth ₹5,34,000. The runner-up was Devang Yadav aka ‘laila’ who pocketed ₹3,74,000.
The After Party on PokerBaazi drew in 314 unique players and 266 re-entries. The event crushed its advertised guarantee and a final prize pool of ₹14,50,000 was generated. The buy-in of the event was ₹2,750. The top 72 places were paid and a min-cash of ₹4,500 was given. Neeraj Sattawat aka ‘neerunj’ grabbed the title and the first-place prize of ₹2,37,000. Allen Romeo aka ‘romeo333’ was the runner-up for ₹2,29,000.
Adda52 Millions welcomed 169 registered players and 141 re-entries. The tournament’s ₹25 Lakh guarantee event generated a final prize pool worth ₹31,00,000 which crushed the original guarantee. The event’s buy-in was worth ₹11,000 and the top 34 places were paid. The min-cash given was ₹21,700. The title was clinched by Rajat Sharma aka ‘Oshoswami’ who went home with ₹7,06,034 in prize money. Pavankiran Bellamkonda aka ‘RootahuaMachi’ walked away in the runner-up position for ₹5,38,616.
PokerStars hosted its Sunday Special event which was the progressive knockout tournament. The ₹15 Lakh guarantee tournament had a ₹5,500 buy-in. There were a total of 273 entries (154 runners, 119 re-entries). The top 31 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹7,537. Somesh Patel aka ‘JackNotMa’ grabbed the title and took home ₹1,27,920 as bounty money and ₹1,37,254 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up was Ashwin Vijay aka ‘Ashwinvijay’ who scored ₹26,445 in bounty money and received ₹1,37,254 from the regular prize pool.
PokerStars’ ₹10 Lakh guarantee Sunday Highroller attracted 98 total entries. Out of this, 57 were registered players and 41 were re-entries. The ₹11,000 buy-in event ended with the top 11 places being paid. The min-cash was ₹29,464. Rajat Sharma aka ‘sharabikebabi’ clinched his second title of the day for ₹2,14,573. Clubbed his win on Adda52 Millions in the same night, Sharma took home a total payday of ₹9,20,607! The runner-up was poker pro Vinayak Bajaj aka ‘koi.toh.rok.lo’ who walked away with ₹2,08,126 in prize money.
