Samay Singh Modi Gets Free Entry to Mystery Bounty From Gutshot

Gutshot Magazine ran a contest at the Casino Vegas in Nepal where three lucky winners could win free entries into the IPC 15k Mystery Bounty tournament. Earlier in the day, we caught up with one of the winners Samay Singh Modi who spoke about his experience in Nepal so far. Unfortunately, the patched up Gutshot player couldn’t run too deep in this mystery bounty event. See here:

Still Confused About How Mystery Bounty Works?

The IPC 15K Mystery Bounty event is a one of a kind tournament. Usually, the bounty on every player is fixed but in this event, it will be a mystery. So, every player who gets busted after ITM is supposed to pick a chit which is the bounty amount for the grinder who busted them.

This will go on till the end, and the winner will get two bounty amounts. The bounty of the player they busted and the one on their head. The players who make it to the FT also get a chance to win a mega bounty as that will be added to the chit only then.

Varad Exits Post Grabbing Chips

Varad PatilIn a classic Hitchcock twist, Varad Patil has exited the 15K Mystery Bounty event after grabbing chips impressively from Puneet Mishra. On Table 13, at Level 11, blinds at 1,000/2,000, ante 2,000, Patil shoved all-in with 30,000 holding pocket jacks. Mishra who was waiting to avenge (looked like it) his loss of chips made the call with A K . The board ran out 7 T A 3 K . Patil’s one pair was outlasted by his rival’s two pairs. While Sharma hit a King-pair on the turn, it was no use for him because the river soon followed and Jain still had the upper hand. With that Sharma busted out of the tournament. Get Ready For The 15K Mystery Bounty

As we closely witness and update you about the latest updates on India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022, Main Event Day 2, we will also bring you the updates from the 15K Mystery Bounty tournament happening alongside. This one-day event is all set to begin at 5 PM today and is expected to welcome registrations from several popular names.

Mystery bounty is a unique twist on the knockout bounty variant of poker. Players have to buy-in with ₹15,000. Out of this, ₹10,000 goes to the tournament’s prize pool, and ₹5,000 goes into a mystery bounty prize pool, instead of a ₹5,000 bounty on every player. Interesting, right? And the fun part is, that no one knows how much bounty a player carries. The bounty prize pool will be divided into multiple bounty amounts and placed in a box. Additionally, these mystery bounties will be introduced once the money bubble has burst. Players have to pick out a draw to know their bounty amount.

So, stay tuned to Gutshot Magazine for the latest updates about this fun and exciting tournament, and watch the drama unfold.
