WATCH: New YouTube Poker Documentary ‘The Ultimate Stack’

The Ultimate Stack is a unique poker documentary that follows the experiences of poker players at the 2023 WPT Championship in Las Vegas. The series is now available to stream on YouTube on the POKER films channel.

The documentary’s POV is the chips, which change hands multiple times during a series, as so many events have so many people playing the game that they love the most—poker. The documentary features some of the most famous poker players who played in the series, including Tony Dunst, Garrett Adelstein, Chris Moorman, Andrew Lichtenberger, Dan Sepiol, Mike Holtz, Brad Owen, and more.

Apart from this, there have been only a handful of poker-themed media, including the iconic movie Rounders (1998), which told the story of a young man who just knew that he could make his fortune at the felts, starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton. There has been some talk about a sequel to the iconic movie, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

There are a handful of documentaries about poker, and we have a list of some of the best that are now available. In 2019, a documentary concentrating on the women of poker,  ‘Poker Queens,’ hit the screens. When it comes to Indian poker players, Nikita Luther has appeared in the media, and there are rumours that she might be featured on the Amazon Prime reality show with Karan Johar. This hints at a upsurge in poker-based content, but it remains to be seen until when the uptick will remain.
