Phil Ivey Signed As WPT’s New Ambassador 

World Poker Tour, or WPT as it is fondly known as has announced poker legend Phil Ivey as its latest brand ambassador. The brand welcomed the pro calling him the greatest of all time (GOAT).

The series shared the news on their official social media handles. The post read, “We are honoured to welcome The GOAT, @philivey, as a #WPTAmbassador! 🐐 The poker icon brings his renowned legacy as a member of the #WPTChampionsClub and the Poker Hall of Fame to the #WPTAmbassador roster!” (sic.)

Speaking about the association, Ivey says, “WPT is one of the most respected brands in poker, and I’m honoured to become a WPT Ambassador. My commitment and passion towards poker has never been higher and I look forward to working with the WPT to showcase poker around the world, adding to its continued expansion.”

Ivey is one of the most prominent and instrumental players in the history of poker. He is continually expanding his role in the poker community globally, and WPT as a brand is reaching new milestones by evolving during its 20th-anniversary season. Apart from his success at the WPT, Ivey is also a Poker Hall of Fame inductee and has 10 World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelets gracing his shelves, which is the second highest by any player, making the 45-year old, only the second player to have 10 bracelets in history of poker. He had over $40 million in live tournament earnings along with other online earnings, giving him a place in the top ten on the ‘All Time Money List.’
