Nishant Sharma Finishes 5th At World Poker Championship Loyal Hanoi 2023

Gamezy Poker pro Nishant Sharma is currently in Hanoi grinding at the World Poker Championship, taking place at the Grand Loyal Poker Club in Hanoi, Vietnam. The pro made it to the final table of Event #18: Single Day High Roller and finished at the fifth place.

The single-day high roller was a VND 33,000,000 ($1,407) buy-in event. He shared the updates on his Instagram stories. Sharma shared a picture of the nine final tablists posing at the poker table.

He then shared a picture of his cashout slip, which mentioned that he finished fifth in the tournament. The event was finally shipped by Vietnamese player Pham Duy Anh.

World Poker Championship, Hanoi was a 10-day long festival which ran between 31st March to 9th April 2023. The series had 20 prestigious tournaments on schedule and offered a whopping $1 Million in guaranteed prize pools throughout the series.

Indian players like Jasven Saigal, Deepak Bothra, and Sharma, among others, were seen grinding in this series. Saigal cashed at #7 Mystery Bounty, wherein he finished sixth for VND 90,000,000. Bothra finished 35th in the Main Event and cashed VND 60,000,000. Apart from these, India’s Kamal Kumar Sogani cashed first at the Kickoff event after taking the 11th place for VND 46,000,000, and later cashed VND 83,000,000 for his 21st place finish at the Main Event.
