The World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to be the most prestigious poker series that players all over the world are eager to grind in. Over the years, the poker series has seen many talented players win gold bracelets. Winning at least one WSOP gold bracelet is every poker player’s dream but winning multiple bracelets, that’s an achievement.
Among the long list WSOP bracelet winners, Ted Forrest is one player who has managed to win six of these prestigious gold bands. Forrest, an American professional poker player, turned to poker on a full-time basis in the mid-1990s.
Forrest shipped three of his WSOP bracelets in 1993. He shipped his first bracelet in the $1,500 Seven-Card Razz for $78,400, his second in the $1,500 Omaha 8 or Better for $120,000, and his third at the $5,000 Seven Card Stud for $114,000.
However, after his spectacular run at the legendary poker series, Forrest began focusing his skills on cash games. Despite not being a regular tournament player, Forrest made an epic comeback at the 2004 WSOP where he grabbed his fourth and fifth WSOP bracelet.
But, this was not the end, because in 2014 he shipped his sixth WSOP bracelet when he won the $1,500 Seven-Card Razz for $121,196 after defeating poker maestro Phil Hellmuth. This was also his second win in the Seven Card Razz variant.

Apart from WSOP, Forrest also played in other live poker tournaments like the World Poker Tour (WPT) where he won the $9,600 + 400 WPT Championship Event No-Limit Hold’em for a whopping $1,100,000 in March 2007. This is also his best live cash to date, according to Hendon Mob. Forrest currently ranks 193rd in the all-time money list and has a total live earnings of $6,392,082 as per Hendon Mob.

His last WSOP appearance was in 2018 where he managed to cash in at two events – Event #56 $10,000 Razz – Championship in 13th place for $17,706 and the Event #50 $1,500 Razz in 27th place for $3,034. Even at 57, Forrest continues to grind on the poker felts and it looks like he’s going to be on his game for as long as it takes. Given that most WSOP bracelets were won in Razz and Seven Card Stud events, it’s safe to say that Forrest works his charm majorly in these two poker variants.
