Justin Bonomo Raised 300K Only To See Tom Dwan Throw An Eye Roll At Him!

Tom Dwan and Justin Bonomo are no strangers to controversies, making headlines and giving their rivals eye rolls! What are we talking about? The recently concluded Triton Poker Series North Cyprus 2023 saw Dwan throw an eye roll Bonomo’s way! If anyone wanted a glimpse of classic Dwan, then the $40K NLH 8-Handed was the event to witness that occurrence. 

When blinds were at 75K/150K, ante 150K, when only seven players remained in the game out of 125 entries, Dwan went all-in after Bonomo raised 300K preflop. Dawn threw in his remaining tournament life of 3,335,000 chips and his fate was left hanging on his KQo vs Bonomo’s Ladies. 

The dealer fanned out a board of 5d 6h 8d 9s Ad. This meant the All Time Money List headliner had won and had sent Dwan packing. Yes, losing in a high stakes game is surely painful but throwing an eye roll seems a bit too much! What do you think?

Talking about Dwan, he was last seen commenting on the Jason Koon and Dan Smith controversy. Smith rattled Koon’s cage when he shushed the other players on the table to have a ‘moment’ while he wanted to decide on his next move. Koon was having any of Smith’s tantrums and called him obnoxious (repeat offenders often are!).

When it comes to Koon’s performance at the series, he made quite the splash at the Triton Poker Series 2023 North Cyprus when he clinched his 7th title of the series. Bonomo on the other hand, crossed $60 Million in live earnings and is still leading the coveted All Time Money List (Hendon Mob).

Other notable players who were seen grinding at the Triton Super High Roller Series were Stephen Chidwik, Indian-origin player Santhosh Suvarna, Sam Greenwood, Michael Soyza, Mikita Badziakouski among others. Triton Poker Series is next headed to London, and we can expect some fireworks from the upcoming stop too.
