Jake Schindler Ships Stairway To Millions Event #6 For $287,500

Jake Schindler emerged victorious after the final table (FT) of PokerGO’s Stairway to Millions Event #6 concluded with him walking away with $287,500 in prize money. The tournament had 25 entries and it was a live event held at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

Schindler is known as one of the most consistent players in the world when it comes to live tournaments and his win proves just that. With this victory, he now has a lifetime live tournament earnings of over $28.6 million. He currently ranks 15th on the all-time money list and 11th among the American players. GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu confessed that Schindler was probably one of the best live tournament players in the world.

The FT put Jake Schindler in a tough spot as he was also up against other greats like Sean Winter, Nick Petrangelo, and Alex Foxen. The first to bust was Winter, a regular highroller player who walked away with $62,500. In third place was Foxen, who won Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He went home with $100,000. The runner-up was highroller expert Petrangelo who busted for $175,000.

There are only two more events left for the Stairway to Millions series to wrap up. Held at the ARIA Resort and Casino, the next tourney is Event #7 which has a $52,000 buy-in and is a No-Limit Hold’em tournament.
