Welcoming the weekend with a bang is Spartan Poker hosting the never-before-seen INR 25 Crore GTD 2020 IOPC July. Friday nights are highly exciting with huge guarantees and incredible prizes. So, let’s take a quick look back at all the action that went down on the virtual felts on IOPC Day 9

The first tourney of IOPC kicks off at 12 pm attracting the crowd and so was yesterday when event 57th pulled in 773 entries. Champion was crowned in the well-known circuit grinder Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘anveed’ who rode past the field to claim the valuable title, adding another win to his illustrious poker resume. Settling in the second place was his opponent ‘Aman_d_parry’.

With a buy-in of INR 1,650, the 58th event on the IOPC Day 9 clocked in 428 entries. Claiming his second title in the ongoing series was Ajay Dhayal who eliminated his opponent ‘Optimus_NK’ in heads-up with 9988 over Ace-high card. The champion seized the biggest chunk from INR 6.42 Lakhs prize pool while other 30 players secured INR 5.6K in minimum cash.

IOPC #59 Monster Stack INR 5L GTD

The third event of the day was taken down by an anonymous but regular grinder ‘FunkeyFox’. Promising INR 5L GTD, the event drew a bigger prize pool of INR 6.42 Lakhs which was eventually divided among the top 71 finishers out of 803 entries. The competition ended in level 56 with ‘FunkeyFox’ claiming the prestigious title and ‘PrithviB18’ capturing the second-place payout.

Slightly surpassing the guarantee was the 60th event that garnered 372 entries. It was ‘Noobdaddy7’ who conquered the field to add the winner’s prize money to his/her poker wallet. The mystery winner settled for a heads-up deal with IOPC #57 INR 4L GTD champ and circuit grinder Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘avneed’ who bowed out in the second place. Top 31 players got INR 3.2K as min-cash.

The Friday flagship event TGIF is a popular event always pulling the crowd. And never disappointing us, the event attracted a monstrous field of 1,539 entries. Money reached the top 135 players who managed to secure INR 4.5K as minimum cash. Parikshit Dhall aka ‘zapdos11’ defeated Anuj Yadav aka ‘titooTauji’ in heads-up battle with two pairs AAJJ, taking home his first IOPC July 2020 title.

IOPC #62 The Elite INR 60L GTD

We spoke about The Elite being the biggest tournament of the day on Spartan Poker in our Friday Roundup article. Creating a guarantee-smashing prize pool of INR 73.80 Lakhs, Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ took home the largest chunk from here! Ahuja powered through a field of 738 entries and turned INR 11K buy-in to an enormous payday. We saw Yowan Patel aka ‘PAPITO’ settling in the second place after Ahuja dominated him in heads-up.
