Day 16 of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022 witnessed some unparalleled action. As several players battled it out, few among them emerged victorious. Here’s what the day looked like.
The first event of the day had 303 entries, 94 re-entries and 235 rebuys. The top 55 places finished in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹1,715.
IOPC January 2020 Millionaire Main Event winner Anurag Srivastava aka ‘CultOfPersonality’ and mystery player ‘Skylark77’ ended the tourney in a deal as Srivastava nailed the top spot for ₹45,554, while ‘Skylark77’ finished second for ₹44,623.
This event saw 220 entries, 66 re-entries and 172 rebuys generating a final prize pool of ₹6,87,000. The min-cash stood at ₹4,740, and the top 39 places made it in the money.
Mystery player ‘rtj11’ took the top spot for ₹1,23,881. At the runner-up spot ‘Elbulli’ had a payday of ₹1,05,438.
IOPC #112 had a player field of 448 entries (233 players, 34 re-entries and 181 rebuys). Out of which the top 39 places took home a min-cash of ₹3,105. Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ topped the table for ₹90,225. Anonymous player ‘allaboveone’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹59,985.
This event was nailed by Siddharth Gangwar aka ‘cooking_nuts,’ who added ₹95,175 to his bankroll. Anurag Srivastava aka ‘CultofPersonality,’ who also shipped IOPC 110, finished second at this tourney for ₹64,080. Out of the 190 entries, 40 re-entries and 165 rebuys, the top 31 places cashed and the min-cash paid was ₹3,960.
Friday Prime surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹22,76,100. A strong field of 1,389 unique players and 1,140 rebuys battled it out. The tournament paid out the top 207 places. The min-cash stood at ₹2,913.
Nitesh Katiyar aka ‘KATIYAR11’ shipped the event for ₹3,43,109. ‘Raj@19911’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹2,57,903.
The initial guarantee of this event was also crushed as 303 entries, 133 re-entries and 155 rebuys generated a final prize pool of ₹59,10,000. The min-cash stood at ₹25,708 and the top 63 places made the money.
Abhimanyu Mittal aka ‘Asraat Manfi’ shipped the event and grabbed a lion’s share of ₹11,43,585. Saurabh Rohila, who shipped IOPC #107 the previous night finished second for ₹7,21,020.
The last event of the day saw a total of 725 entries (consisting of 351 entries, 136 re-entries and 238 rebuys). Out of these top 71 places cashed and the min-cash recorded was ₹4,180.
Mystery players ‘boosterx’ and ‘noscOpe’ nailed the top two spots for ₹2,12,300 and ₹1,33,760 respectively.
