IOPC Day 11: Sahil Chutani Ships Legends For Over 38 Lakh


India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022, being hosted on Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER and PokerHigh, and Poker Daddy witnessed a smashing Sunday night. The day saw action-packed events with buy-ins starting at as low as ₹880. Additionally, the day also witnessed Day 2 of marquee events, Legends as well as Wanderer. Here’s what went down on Day 11.

IOPC #74 DST – ₹8.5 Lakh

The first tournament of the day had a final prize pool of ₹8,70,000, which was shared by the top 39 places. 435 entries (217 entries, 49 re-entries and 169 rebuys) participated and the min-cash stood at ₹6,003.

Achintya Acharya aka ‘Achu1406’ and Tanmay Bhalerao aka ‘Tandroid’ sealed the tourney in a deal as both took home ₹1,34,348 and ₹1,33,506 respectively.

IOPC #75 Monster Stack – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

This event saw the advertised guarantee being surpassed by a slim margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹7,65,000. The top 87 places out of the 484 entries, 131 re-entries and 342 rebuys made it in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹2,373.

Aditya Kulkarni aka ‘Been there Done that’ nailed the title and added ₹1,46,612 to his bankroll, while Siddharth Gangwar aka ‘cooking_nuts’ took the second spot for ₹91,259.

IOPC #76 Sunday Prime – ₹65 Lakh GTD

Sunday Prime was undoubtedly one of the prime attractions of the day as the initial guarantee of ₹65 Lakh was crushed impressively, by the 398 entries, 147 re-entries and 223 rebuys. The final prize pool was ₹76,80,000. The top 79 places at this event were paid as the min-cash stood at ₹26,112.

Dhruvin Kothari aka ‘thepokerplayer’ emerged victorious at this event and cashed ₹14,73,792, after beating WSOP (online) bracelet winner, Kartik Ved aka ‘TheInternetKid’ in the heads-up clash. Ved settled for the runner-up spot with ₹9,24,672 in his bankroll.

IOPC #77 Sunday Spotlight – ₹25 Lakh GTD

This event saw 805 entries (388 entries, 118 re-entries and 299 rebuys) crushing the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹28,17,500. The min-cash of ₹10,706 was paid to the top 71 places.

IPC September 2019 High Roller winner Pranay Chawla aka ‘Alvida’ nailed the tourney for ₹4,14,032 and Jimmy Arora, who took the runner-up spot had a payday of ₹3,64,507.

Chutani added a massive ₹38,36,159 to his bankroll. Additionally, Chutani’s second entry also cashed ₹8,74,940 by finishing sixth in the same tourney. Mystery player ‘Dead money’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹31,32,093. The top 151 places, out of the 154 surviving entries. The final prize pool was ₹2,66,75,000 and the min-cash stood at ₹46,948.

Jay Prajapati aka ‘denb’ topped the table for ₹1,43,727, while ‘EitherWay’ finished second for ₹1,15,419.
