Sahil Chutani’s Godfather Win Fetches Him Over 6 Lakh

The India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022 saw some high-value tournaments taking place on the felts of Spartan Poker, PokerHigh and BLITZPOKER, but that did not stop players from grinding on other poker platforms. Here’s what went down on the virtual felts of Adda52 and PokerBaazi last night.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s staple Godfather was as usual a power-packed event with 260 entries and 246 re-entries. The event generated a final prize pool of ₹25,30,000. The top 55 places finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹11,385.

Sahil Chutani aka ‘bluffme19’ shipped the event for ₹6,07,200. At the runner-up spot, ‘sujith97’ cashed ₹3,54,200.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s Summit saw 144 entries and 143 re-entries crushing the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹21,52,000. The top 36 places tasted a portion of this prize pool and the min-cash stood at ₹14,64,000. 

Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘dilbaghsingh’ nailed the tourney and grabbed ₹4,75,000 for his top finish. Poker pro Kanchan Sharma finished second for ₹3,34,000.

THC #48 Superstack – ₹15 Lakh GTD

The Texas Hold’em Championship (THC) on PokerBaazi has been running full steam. The #48 Superstack which was held yesterday had 692 entries and 733 re-entries participating in this ₹1,100 buy-in event. The min-cash at this event stood at ₹1,800 and the top 239 places got paid.

Muthukumar Rajagopalan aka ‘hero1965’ topped the table and added ₹2,29,000 to his bankroll. Mystery player ‘FlowerMama9’ had a payday of ₹1,60,000 at the runner-up spot.
