IndiaPlays Micro Poker League Ends On A High Note

You must have heard all the buzz about IndiaPlays Micro Poker League (IMPL) which ran from 10th March to 2nd April. The micro series was a blockbuster hit and we’ll tell you why. IndiaPlays kept ₹35 Lakh GTD up for grabs with buy-in starting at just ₹1. Sounds incredible right? That is how the series was—simply astonishing! Let’s dive into the highlights of IMPL.

When it came to player participation, IndiaPlays Micro Poker League was a super hit event. The unique entries stood at 547 while the total entries recorded were 3,655. The coveted IMPL Main Event which offered ₹15 Lakh GTD came with just ₹1 buy-in and such low entry fees resulted in the Main Event getting 1,098 total entries and 433 unique entries. The top 89 places were paid in the Main Event and the min-cash stood at ₹3,750. The highly anticipated tournament also had the title winner take home a pay cheque of ₹2,40,000. The runner-up had a payday of ₹1,76,250.

That’s not all folks, we also have some players tell their story of grinding and winning in IndiaPlays’ Micro Poker League. First up, we have Nand Kishore aka ‘Baazigar11.’ This player says, “I am a mid-stakes tournament player, so I separated all tournaments with GTDs over 100K when it came to IMPL. My key focus was on the Main Event. My  preparation for the Main Event paid off as this tournament gave me one of my biggest online cash grabs, which sums up my total winnings in IMPL at around 150K.”

Kishore further adds, “Bounty tournaments are the best on IndiaPlays. Although there were few bounty tournaments with big GTDs, these bounty tourneys and the Main Event with a hefty prize pool caught my attention when the schedule of IMPL was released. I had fun.
