Here’s Why You Can’t Miss WSOP 2023!

The 54th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) is almost upon us as players begin to prepare for the biggest poker show on the planet. We are getting closer with each passing day, and players across the globe are pumped to attend the event. With WSOP 2023 just a handful of days away, here are a few reasons why you should definitely visit Sin City and grind in the event.

WSOP 2023: Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Miss The Event

The Biggest Poker Show

The World Series of Poker is undoubtedly one of the biggest poker festivals in the world. With the competition growing with each edition, WSOP 2023 promises to be a record-breaker in multiple ways. The rumour mills have it that the Main Event will shatter attendance records breaking a previous number of entries.

The rest of the WSOP schedule also includes tons of other events which are expected to rope in a large number of participants, citing their huge prize pools. Given how WSOP 2023 guarantees more poker action than anywhere else, poker aficionados are surely in for a treat this year!

Meet Your Poker idols

The WSOP is probably the only poker festival where all the big-names come together under one roof. From semi-professional players to stars and legends, everyone is seen playing at the venue. It undoubtedly is the single biggest magnet for poker players out there and the only festival where grinders can hope to meet the likes of Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Shaun Deeb, Fedor Holz, Justin Bonomo, Bryn Kenney among others at the same spot. So heading out to Las Vegas could allow you to stand a chance to meet some of the legends of the game and have a couple of minutes of their time for your dream to come true.

Play in soft side games

Normally, Las Vegas is not known for soft fields, given how pros alongside serious players are seated at the tables. However, all of that changes when it’s time for WSOP, as recreational players flood in thousands of numbers to hit the tables. Newbies and recreational players try their hand at poker and look to play games across buy-in levels.

Cash game players too can try out the tournament side of things as it could be a welcome change in their routine. And what better than WSOP 2023? The tourneys at WSOP are not restricted to No-Limit Hold’em or Pot-Limit Omaha, the WSOP 2023 schedule has Razz, H.O.R.S.E, 2-7 Triple Draw, Mixed Draw, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, 2-7 Lowball Draw and more. Could the variety get any better? We don’t think so!

Qualify for the Main Event

One of the biggest attractions in Las Vegas is the WSOP Main Event, as it’s the one tournament every player wants to be a part of and win the glorious Main Event bracelet. The $10,000 buy-in fee counted as a bit steep for a few, there are plenty of opportunities for players to qualify for the Main without paying the full buy-in amount.

Ahead of WSOP 2023, the event operators decided to suspend its single-table Main Event satellites for the first time. However, the mega satellites will see even more action take place and see dozens of players head into the Main Event.

Buy-ins across levels

Many poker festivals across the globe have a limited number of tournaments and games per day that players can engage in. However, that’s not the case in Sin City during WSOP, as players can quite literally play any game as buy-ins across low, mid and high levels are available. To ensure that buy-ins don’t rain on your parade, WSOP has mega satellites in place to enable players to grind with lower buy-ins and qualify for the marquee events. Tournament buy-ins start as low as $300 and with just $50 you cant participate in mega sattys.

Nightlife in Vegas

Apart from all the poker fun, Vegas is a place you won’t regret visiting as the city promises to be full of thrill and surprises. If you are a poker player looking to party when you aren’t grinding, Vegas offers quite a lot of fun activities. From visiting exclusive nightclubs to some bar hopping, the city got it all! Parties in Las Vegas are legendary in more ways than one, so when you are out there, make the most of it as unwinding is very necessary with a hell lot of action on the felts.

Premium Shows

Las Vegas has some of the best shows around the world. Quite a few of them are free for hotel guests who can access them as per convenience while being affordable for anyone else. From comedy shows, circus, to entertainment nights full of various acts, Sin City got it all with such live events found almost in every hotel. It is worth noting that almost every hotel presents a different theme with different types of shows to go along. Such shows are a great addition that end up enhancing the overall experience.

Adventure Adventure Adventure!

Apart from all the live shows and entertainment a trip to Vegas would remain incomplete without some thrill seeking activities. You can enjoy a good adrenaline rush from shooting ranges to helicopter rides, rock climbing, to bungee jumping as well as swimming with dolphins; the Sin City has you covered!

All such activities means there won’t be a dull moment during your whole trip to Las Vegas. So what are you waiting for? Pros or not, Las Vegas is a destination you don’t want to miss out on, especially when it has WSOP in its list of things to do!
