Gujarat Falcons PSL 5 Team Owner: Jaydeep Dawer 

Jaydeep Dawer is a professional poker player who is the owner of a silk mill in the city of Surat in Gujarat. He was a regular feature in the poker circuit, and his poker journey began way back in 2010. However, he broke out in 2017 when he defeated a record 293-player field in the PokerBaazi Premier League Special Edition Main Event for ₹11.4 Lakh.

Since then, Dawer has also been into organising poker events, donning the organiser’s cap for online and live poker ventures. While his poker ventures may have ceased operations, his career as a player is flourishing.

Since then, he has gone on to become an owner of the Gujarat Falcons team in the Pocket52 Poker Sports League. His partners Premnath Kasinath and V Ramakrishna, alongside Jaydeep Dawer, were heavily involved in the Pocket52 Poker Sports League season 5 auction, which took place on 8th July in Goa.

Following five hours of some intense bidding action, all the owners managed to form their team for the upcoming edition of the edition. Here’s what Jaydeep Dawer’s Gujarat Falcons PSL 5 team looked like.

Dawer’s team started off the campaign on a positive note, with the likes of Zarvan Tumboli and Romit Advani playing for the team. At the time of writing, the Gujarat Falcons find themselves slotted fifth on the table. However, with only one point differentiating them and fourth-placed Deccan Aces, they will be eager to make it to the live finale.
