Online poker platform GGPoker will be hosting an exclusive poker event for all of its female players. As a part of its massive USD 150 Million guarantee GGPoker Spring Festival, the poker platform will be collaborating with music star DJ Kim Lee for this event. The exclusive set will be live on GGPoker.TV on 17 April at 8 PM CEST.
GGPoker is also partnering with the Fantastic Ladies in Poker (FLIP) group to host a USD 20,000 GTD tournament to kick off the celebrations. FLIP is a women-only Facebook group founded by Daiva Byrne. The group was built to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of women poker players.
The buy-in of the tournament will be USD 10. However, eligible FLIP members will be able to play the tournament for free. Along with this, they will also be eligible for additional prizes besides the sweet prize pool. GGPoker had already partnered with the group a few months ago and is looking forward to another collaboration.
John Scanlon, Head of Sponsorships & Live Events, commented, “Partnering with the Fantastic Ladies In Poker and Daiva Byrne has been a delight from day one. We’re excited to host another party night as part of the GG Spring Festival. The awesome Kim Lee will be providing the beats and hopefully lots of GGPoker’s best players, both female and male, will get to enjoy the music and tournament!”
DJ Kim Lee posted the good news about the event through her Twitter handle. See below:

The USD 20,000 guarantee is the least that players can expect to win but the rewards could be much more. The best performing FLIP member will also win a USD 2,450 worth Saint Laurent Leather Shoulder. The runner up will also get a USD 1,500 worth ticket to GG Spring Festival Main Event ticket.
