Five games to play instead of PUBG

One of the most popular games, PUBG has been banned by the Indian Government which has left the  gaming community searching for an alternative. The Government banned 118 mostly-Chinese mobile applications, including the popular online multiplayer game PUBG, after a fresh round of border confrontation with China. This is the third round of crackdown by the government on Chinese-linked applications following the Galwan Valley clashes in June in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed.

We have come up with some PUBG alternatives. So let’s go ahead and find the best games like PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS.

Call of Duty

Last year, Call of Duty was launched by Activision, a US-based studio. The game has been very popular among the players and has crossed more than 170 million downloads on both Android and iOS. The best part about Call of Duty: Mobile is that it offers everything you used to love playing on PUBG. You have a 100-player battle-royale mode, a 5v5 and a 10v10 death-match, multiplayer modes like COD Black Ops and much more.

Garena Free Fire

This multiplayer game for mobile has gained a lot of popularity since it was released in 2017. Developed by a Singapore based company, it has gained over 500 million downloads on Playstore. The gameplay is quite similar to PUBG with 50 players available to battle on a single map and each round lasts about 10 minutes. It might be as vast as PUBG Mobile but does offer regular seasons, updates and has a robust gaming ecosystem. The game takes 580MB of size on an Android smartphone and 1.4 GB on an Apple device.

You can drive a helicopter, land in new places and face the fatal battleground to win the death-match. With over 50 million downloads on playstore and the game is compatible on Android as well as iOS.

Knives out

The game can accommodate up to 100 players in a single round and the basic gameplay is exactly the same as PUBG Mobile. Players get dropped on an island and the last survivor is the winner. Graphics of the game are not as impressive as PUBG which might disappoint a lot of users. Five games to play instead of PUBG

Fortnite

Although Fortnite has been removed from Play Store, you can still download it through its own store. Fortnite is a game that is very similar to PUBG Mobile. You have four distinct modes: 100-player battle royale, Party Royale, Creative, and Save the World. Party Royal is just like PUBG’s Cheer Park; Creative is where you can create your own island and Save the World is a co-op tower defense survival game.
