Estrellas Poker Tour ME 2023: Ankit Ahuja Makes Day 4 With The 4th Highest Stack

Indian fans keeping a tab on the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023 have a reason to smile as India’s Ankit Ahuja has qualified for Day 4 with the fourth highest stack. 

The poker player ended Day 3 with a stack of 15,325,000 chips. The chip leader going into Day 4 is Ferdinando D’Alessio (Belgium) with a stack of 22,225,000 chips (89 BB). Second in chip counts is Avihai Smadga from Israel with 19,875,000 chips (80 BB).

Day 3 of Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023:

The day kicked off with 153 survivors ready for a slugfest on the live felts of Casio Barcelona. The Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023 turned out to be a record breaking event with 7,398 entries being the final number who participated. 

This massive number of entries resulted in a final prize pool worth €7,102,080. The lion’s share of this gigantic prize pool (€676,230) will be awarded to the first place finisher along with the coveted trophy.

Talking about the Indians at European Poker Tour (EPT) and Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023, we have Jagdeep Singh, Apoorva Goel and Paawan Bansal marking their attendance at the series. Sadly, Goel busted from the Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023 on Day 1C. 

Now, it remains to be seen how Ahuja takes his story forward on Day 4 of the coveted event. As for other pros grinding at the event, we hope to see the shine bright. 

Previously, Indian pro Nikita Luther had made quite the splash at EPT in 2022. She took the 16th position in the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event. Luther added €27,930 (approximately ₹22,82,458)  to her bankroll with her 16th place finish. The female pro had also qualified for Day of the EPT Barcelona Main Event but busted on Level 13.
