Estrellas Poker Tour High Roller 2023: Bharat Janardhan Exited On Day 2

Bharat Janardhan’s progress in the €2,200 Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT) High Roller 2023 has come to an end after he busted in the 136th spot. The Indian player bowed out on the second day of the event, which currently sees 10 players batting it out for glory.

Bharat walked away with €5,950 in winnings for his 136th-ranked finish in the event, which saw Conor Beresford hold the chip lead ahead of the final day. The United Kingdom-based poker player has 16,075,000 chips against his name, while second in chips, French player Antonie Labat has 11,075,000 chips to fight for the top spot.

Apart from Bharat Janardhan, we saw a lot of Indian players get in on the action as Ankit Ahuja featured in the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event (ME) 2023. Apoorva Goel was also seen grinding in this event before being busted out on Day 1C. With Ahuja going strong on the final table of the ME, we hope this poker player ships the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event 2023 to bring India the coveted trophy.

Apart from Ahuja, Nikita Luther had a memorable time in the event last year when she managed to pocket a payday of €27,930 during the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event in August 2022.  The Indian contingent of players has also been faring well at the European Poker Tour (EPT) with the likes of Jagdeep Singh and Paawan Bansal marking their attendance at the series.  With Indian poker players doing well all around, it remains interesting to see if their game gives other players a reason to join the bandwagon.
