Dylan Weisman Wins Event #2, Justin Young Wins Event #3 Of PGT Kickoff Series


The 2024 PGT Kickoff series crowned two new winners, with Dylan Weisman emerging victorious in Event #2 and Justin Young grabbing the title in Event #3. Weisman topped a field of 90 entries in Event #2 to win $121,500. Young beat a field of 73 entries in Event #3 to win $105,850.

For Weisman, the victory marked the first career live tournament win in no-limit hold’em, according to TheHendonMob.com. He put on a dominating performance at the final table that included a big bluff against Sergei Kislinskii.

In Event #3, the tournament ended with a bang. Young jammed all in with pocket eights during three-handed play. David Coleman made the call with two kings before Kristen Foxen, the original raiser, also called all in with pocket queens. Young spiked an eight on the flop and held from there to in the tournament with a double elimination.

David Coleman has made all three final tables of the PGT Kickoff series, finishing first, fifth, and second for a combined $221,000. He’s earned 442 PGT leaderboard points and is atop the 2024 PGT leaderboard with a sizable lead in the early goings.

Final tables of every PGT Kickoff event will be livestreamed on PokerGO starting in the evening when the final table is reached.
