The November 2023 Showcase Auction of U.S. Currency saw an impressive number of rare currency, which consisted of various large and small-size notes that can be diverse based on types and denominations. One such note that particularly caught the attention comes from the collection of a former poker player! A note put up for sale in November is related to the collection of professional poker pro Johnny Chan.
One of the rarest notes in this auction is a 1934 $10,000 Federal Reserve Note (Philadelphia, graded PMG 45) with an estimated value of $175,000 to $275,000. It is said to be among the only 117 total $10,000 Small Size Federal Reserve Notes that have been certified by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
