DPT Oct 2023: Faiz Alam Wins Mini Main Event

Poker player Faiz Alam has emerged victorious in the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) October 2023 Mini Main Event. He overcame impressive odds to bounce back at the event and record a memorable win after a thrilling showdown to win ₹6,32,214 in prize money alongside the coveted trophy.

DPT October 2023 saw a ton of intense poker action, with players from all across the country coming to Goa and participating in this poker spectacle. The ongoing 15th edition of the tournament series saw quite a few big names from the Indian poker circuit grind to win top titles. 

Earlier in this highly popular tournament series, we saw Animesh Thakur win the DPT October 2023 Turbo Closer event and walk away with ₹2,39,700 in prize money.

Dishant Soni won a prize money worth ₹1,11,200 for shipping DPT October 2023 Pineapple Flip & Ship title. Prajit Gambhir was crowned as the NLH Bounty champion, and Abhishek Grover claimed the Super Hold’em Turbo event for ₹2,09,300 in winnings.

Sahil Chutani won the prestigious Main Event title to grab a pay cheque of ₹20,19,109 alongside the trophy while Ritwik Khanna won the Warm-Up NLH Turbo event and ₹4,13,289 in what was his first-ever live title. Notably, a poker player named Anirudh had a payday of ₹1.92 Lakh for winning the Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) Bounty in DPT October 2023.
