Doug Polk’s Reply To Phil Hellmuth’s Question Is SAVAGE AF!

Celebrities and popular personalities getting into Twitter wars or witnessing cheeky banter on the micro-blogging site has become a regular thing now. It’s the same for poker players. Several poker pros and industry folks from across the globe are active on Twitter, sharing their lives, games and more. 

Talking about highly active poker players on Twitter, one cannot simply ignore Phil Hellmuth. Recently, the 16-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner hosted a poll asking his followers what he should do on the upcoming weekend. He gave two options which the followers could choose from. 

He tweeted saying, “Should I invite @IAmMaverick888 @berkey11 and @DougPolkVids to play $100-$200 on @LIVEattheBike live stream Thurs/Fri and buy in $300,000? Or take another week off?” He was referring to Doug Polk (@DougPolkVids) and Eric Persson (@IAmMaverick888). Around 79% of the users voted that three should play, while 21% users suggested that Hellmuth should relax on his weekend.

But what caught our attention was Doug Polk’s reply to his tweet. Polk replied saying, “Not available.”

However, the conversation soon got funnier with users replying to his tweet. One user named Bozo’s Burner wrote, “Phil, he’s getting his eyebrows done and applying a coat of bronzer that takes 4-5 hours to dry.” Burner was referring to one of Polk’s Poker Thoughts Episodes on YouTube, where he was seen talking about Twitch poker. The episode’s comment section created a lot of buzz as viewers were more interested in knowing if Polk was wearing bronzer or fake tanner during the stream.

Polk had a witty reply as he said, “Correct, and if you too want a perfect tan head on down to @NaruOrganics today!” Burner then replied saying, “Doug I’m fat. If I used your bronzer I would look like a turkey.”

Another user claimed that Hellmuth’s proposal to play with Polk and Persson was a ‘joke.’ “It’s a joke. No way Phil buys in for $300k. $30k, maybe. He’s giving himself a way out of a previous challenge he has no intention of completing,” the user mentioned.
