Many of us often get dreams that scare us so much that we end up waking up in cold sweats or in utter shock. This happened to our very own Daniel Negreanu. The poker pro recently shared a similar incident on his Twitter handle that had him waking up in sweats, shock and mixed feelings about life. What’s so shocking about this dream? Well, it was about a hand played in poker (DNegs and poker are quite inseparable).
Earlier today the six time World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner shared that a hand he played with DC, gave him a post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that affected him terribly. Apparently, Negreanu limped with Cowboys, and DC raises to 30K from the small blind position. DNegs re-raises to 150K and DC 3-bets to 300K and the latter calls.
DC shows Qs 2s and the flop opens JJ2. ‘KidPoker’ shared that he was anxious and pacing on seeing the flop. Further, the turn and river showed two more queens giving DC a full house and Negreanu a lot of shock. The Super High Roller Bowl champion shared that he ‘woke up sweating.’
All in PTSD affects my dreams:
Last night I limped KK, @DColpoys23 makes it 30k from SB, I make it 150k, he makes it 300k and we get it in
He has the Q2 of spades
Flop JJ2 and I’m anxious and pacing
Turn Queen

The tweet was flooded with some mixed replies from several users. One of the users sympathized with Negreanu saying, “At least u lost in the dream way worse to win in the dream and wake up and realize it isn’t real.” (sic). The pro who recently bought a brand new Tesla Model S said, “Fair point. Why waste winning fake all ins. Better to get them out of my system while I sleep.”

Better to get them out of my system while I sleep.

A couple of players also asked him if he would ever limp with pocket kings in real life, to which he replied saying that he does it all the time.
Why? I do it all the time.

DC noticed this tweet and re-tweeted DNegs’ tweet on his personal account, ‘DColpoys23’. He wrote, “It’s not too late to make this happen Negladon.” (sic) The player hinted at a game he would be playing with Negreanu.

One of the users even pointed out that post Negreanu’s nightmare experience, DC changed his bio to ‘I’m capable of such beautiful dreams and such horrible nightmares.’

We crossed checked and he was right. We just think that DC has made the most of DNegs’ nightmare and that too with a boat full of Queens.
