BPT March 2022: NJ Niranjan Turns Chip Lead On Day 1

Baazi Poker Tour (BPT) kick-started yesterday and saw the biggest names from the industry, onboard Majestic Pride to meet, greet and crush the live poker scene. A mix of National Poker Series (NPS) and BPT events have been taking place and yesterday the Super Highroller was nailed by Kartik Ved who won the NPS Gold Medal and ₹22.09 Lakh.

The ₹15,000 buy-in Kickoff event was the first event in the glorious BPT series. The tournament started at 4 PM yesterday and saw a total of 385 entries. At the end of level 5, the prize pool stood at ₹54.29 Lakh, and NJ Niranjan was the chip lead. This player has a stack of 799,000 and has to battle with 17 others today, i.e. on Day 2.
