Battlegrounds Mobile India Re-entry: Who Will Win This Game Of Thrones?

Finally! Battlegrounds Mobile India, formerly known as PUBG Mobile is now available for pre-registrations starting from 18th May on Google Play Store. The long-awaited game caught the attention of every gaming enthusiast in the country ever since Krafton officially confirmed that it would be back. Now that pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India have finally started, many will be able to enjoy the game once again.

Alongside the pre-register option, the company also released a launch trailer. The trailer features famous Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and popular PUBG Mobile gamers Aditya Sawant aka ‘Dynamo Gaming,’ Chetan Chandgude aka ‘Kronten Gaming,’ and Jonathan Amaral aka ‘TSMentJONATHAN.’ The trailer was released on the official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Previously, ‘Dynamo Gaming’ had teased the return of the game and upon seeing his involvement in the launch trailer, it’s pretty clear why.

Given that PUBG Mobile was one of the most played games in the country at the time of its ban, the game’s return in a new form has left the entire Indian gaming community in a state of excitement. While the game itself hasn’t been released yet, the launch of its pre-registration marks its most-certain arrival.

“The formation of a strong foundation of the Indian gaming industry has begun. After waiting for so long, the countdown for pre-registrations finally comes to an end and a new countdown for the game launch begins,” said Abhishek Aggarwal, co-founder & CEO of Trinity Gaming. “Team Trinity is ready and excited to witness the record-breaking number of pre-registrations,” he added.

While it’s been a long wait of eight months for the fans ever since PUBG Mobile’s ban. Many are just happy that it’s finally here. The successor to PUBG will have added exclusive features available only for its Indian users along with more localized content and in-game items.  

Aditya Sawant aka ‘Dynamo Gaming,’ who also features in the launch trailer stated, “Finally the day for the launch of the most awaited game Battlegrounds Mobile India is near. We are extremely excited as pre-registration for the game has started. New challenges, new content, new gamers, and new hope for the Indian gaming industry is awaiting. We will provide our audience with the best gaming experience with the upcoming game. We are all set for the amazing journey ahead. Waiting for budding creators to step in the world of gaming with Battlegrounds Mobile India.”

Like Sawant, gamers Chandgude aka ‘Kronten Gaming’ and Amaral aka ‘TSMentJONATHAN’ expressed their excitement at the game’s entry and the vast opportunities it will create for content creators like themselves.

“We have been waiting for this, for quite a long time, and we are excited to get the experience of playing Battlegrounds Mobile India really soon. With the whole community looking forward to the exclusive version, our expectations are high. It is not only the gamers community but even people, in general, who are curious about how big this will be in the world of esports. Also, this game will surely fuel the content creators community and we will definitely witness more influencers coming out of this game. PUBG Mobile was one of the biggest contributors to the esports boom in the country. Its exit left a void in the industry that many in the past few months have tried to fill. However, nothing could quite match the success of the battle royale game. Since India was one of the game’s biggest markets, its inevitable return in the form of Battleground Mobile India means that even the esports industry has a lot to look forward to.

Tarun Gupta, founder of the esports platform Ultimate Battle was delighted at the news, and said, “This is big! The whole gaming community anticipated that it would happen soon and here we are with the pre-registrations open, inviting all the gamers out there.
