Ashutosh Balodhi WINS Millionaire Series Main Event

Leading online gaming brand Spartan Poker just wrapped up its Main Event for The Millionaire Series and they certainly saved the best for last! With a promised prize pool of INR 2 Crore GTD, the Millionaire Series Main Event was the icing on the cake that everyone wanted a bite of. Poker players from all over the country made their presence felt in the digital format but only one among them was hailed as the champion.

The Millionaire announced Ashutosh Balodhi aka ‘SpewMonkey’ as its ultimate Main Event winner, a spot that earned the player a whopping INR 34,24,000 in prize money. Ashutosh fought his way to the top, finally facing off against Aryan aka ‘bob_marley’ in the heads-up session.

The final hand saw ‘bob_marley’ holding just above 3 million in chips and deciding to go all-in on the 4 4 9 flop with QK. Balodhi held over 19 million in chips and there was no doubt about him calling it, showing J J. The final two cards opened up 2 and 8 and didn’t help the eventual runner-up as Balodhi won with two pairs – Jacks and Fours. The runner-up took home INR 19,08,000 for finishing second.
