Check out what our pros have to say
Guneet Kwatra is another well-known name in the Indian poker arena. With over 50 online titles and live cashes to his credit this poker pro is a tough opponent to win against. Kwatra is also the winner of AOPS August 2020 Mini Main Event. We asked him about his participation in the 2020 edition and he replied by stating that the event was happening regularly at a time when poker was booming in India. With hefty guarantees on offer, Kwatra mentioned he wanted to play and win tournaments in the series.
The poker pro goes on to add that the AOPS will be hosting four final tables in Goa which makes the format all the more interesting for the players. Kwatra also praised the tournament structures which are deep and make for amazing tourneys to grind in, especially highlighting the AOPS Super High Roller, Mini Main and Main Event.
The former AOPS Mini Main Event also added that players who are grinding in AOPS 2024 for the very first time need to balance their routine and schedule well and ensure that they get ample rest since many crucial decisions need to be made at the tables.
We got in touch with players from the Indian poker circuit who shared their thoughts on the series and more. We asked Adda52 Game Ambassador, Arun Sriram about the one thing he likes the most about the online poker series.
The poker pro said, “It’s a long awaited series on Adda52 which was immensely successful last time around. This time the team has taken the event a notch higher, and will have final table players from four marquee events on an all expense paid trip to Goa and play aboard the Deltin Royale.”
We asked Sriram on how this series has evolved. He added, “The past editions were immensely successful. This time the event has evolved to have ₹15 Crore in GTD, more than 110 events out of which 26 events are trophy events. Along with this the live play on offer for the final table players of four events adds a lot of variety to the series this time.”

AOPS as a series did create a wave and attracted attention not just from the high rollers but also from players who grind mid-level games which made the series all inclusive. This aspect was further cemented by poker pro Samay Singh Modi who said, “I feel the targetting has become more balanced for all kinds of players like casual gamers, semi pros, high stake regs can participate in the event.”
Modi, who is looking forward to participating in the much awaited series, revealed which tournament is his favourite. The Mumbai lad said, ’My personal favourite would be the bounty championships as I just love playing bounty tournaments.” The poker pro also made sure to add that AOPS offers players a chance to get solid payouts over a longer series which makes the event stand out among its competitors.
Noted poker player Anirban Das who grabbed headlines at the WSOP 2023 and made India proud also shared his view on the AOPS Main Event. He said, “I love the fact that ME guarantees have been going up over the years as more players have entered the field. The level of gameplay has also improved which makes it harder to compete and win.”
“AOPS formats are really attractive. For players grinding the first time max the sattys, keep ABI within bankroll limits and play only if it doesn’t affect other priorities in life/work,” he added when asked about a tip he would like to give first timers at the series.
Another online and live pro Dhinesh Kumar, expressed his thoughts about the upcoming series. He revealed that the guarantees offered at AOPS are pretty impressive and make the series a lucrative one for the players. Kumar further went on to add that the structure of the tournaments in the AOPS series are good when compared to others in the industry.
Folks, we have shared views from some top poker pros of the country about the coveted series that kicks off tomorrow on Adda52. Do let us know your thoughts on the series and sign up on Adda52 if you are looking to grind in a lucrative series online.
