Valorant Pro ‘Antidote’ Exits Team Mahi Weeks After ‘Excali’

Fans of Team Mahi were caught off guard as Sabyasachi ‘Antidote’ Bose of its Valorant roster decided to say goodbye to the team. The Valorant pro is the second one in the past month to step away from the team. This has left the fans stunned. The news broke when the 23-year-old player announced his decision on 15 May during TM Sentinel’s YouTube live stream.

For many, Bose largely contributed to the success of Team Mahi over the past one year. His exit from the esports organization would certainly hit the team hard. Last month, Karan ‘Excali’ Mhaswadkar, another key player in Team Mahi left to join rival team Samurai Esports. Mhaswadkar’s decision was not anticipated by anyone and hence even caught Team Mahi by surprise. Due to this, the organization signed Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik to their Valorant roster. This makes Agneya Koushik the newest addition to the team.

However, it seems that Bose’s exit was a bit better than his former teammate Excali. In a statement regarding his decision Bose said, “I have no problem with any of my teammates or other members of the squad. I would like to thank all the team members and the fans for all their love and support. I am just stepping down from the organization as I want to play other roles in the future that I can’t play while being in this team.”

Although this marks the end of Bose’s time with Team Mahi, his fans will definitely see him back in action. “I will be back to the competitive scene soon and will look forward to some other options for my future as well,” assured Bose. Looks like this is just one chapter that’s been closed in Bose’s career. Fans will be waiting to see what this talented pro is up to next.
