Spartan Poker’s India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) is one of India’s premium poker series held online. If we were to define IOPC in short, we’d say prestigious, high guarantees, fierce competition and IOPC Crown! The series is held twice every year and carries a lot of prestige and recognition to its name. 

Almost every poker player in India, be it recreational players or established pros, dream of adding an IOPC title to their name. And why not? The title comes with so much fame and esteem. And the most eyed IOPC title is the IOPC Crown. Let’s understand why!

What Is The IOPC Crown

The Main Event of the IOPC is known as The Crown. The series was formerly called the Main Event as the ‘The Millionaire Main Event.’ It was only during the July 2020 edition that IOPC adopted the name ‘The Crown’ for its Main Event. 

It is called the ‘Crown’ because of the reward that is awarded to the Main Event Champion. Like many events and championships have trophies and cups for their winners, IOPC awards the Main Event champion with a real crown. Apart from the crown, the ultimate champion also gets to walk away with the prize money, which is usually in Lakhs.

About The IOPC Crown

The IOPC Crown is not any other ordinary one made of artificial metals. It is a gold crown studded with real diamonds and other valuable stones worth lakhs of rupees. It is composed of a total of 1,137 precious stones. Besides, it has 14 pearl blue sapphires giving it a royal look. All these stones are fitted in 60.214 grams worth of real gold. 

IOPC June 2023 Crown 

The June 2023 edition of the IOPC is currently underway, with The Crown Day 2 scheduled to take place on 18th June 2023. The event will crown another champion after eight starting flights held between the 12th to 18th of June 2023.

So far, six flights have been completed, with three more flights remaining. If you, too, want to get your hands on this marvellous crown, you still have the opportunity to play these flights and take a shot at the ultimate glory. The remaining two flights have a buy-in of ₹11,000 and will take place on the following dates:

• Flight 1G – 18th June at 1 PM
• Flight 1H – 18th June at 4 PM

Day 2 will be held on 18th June at 8 PM with all the survivors from the eight starting flights. The IOPC June 2023 Main Event features a massive guarantee of ₹5 Crore GTD.
