Ever tried playing poker in a cave whilst being lit up? No? If you have any such future plans then kindly take some inspo from Alan Keating. This high stakes player (friend of Dan Bilzerian) shared a post on his Instagram handle, wherein he was seen on a poker table in a jacket which was literally lit up. Yes folks, you read that right. Keating, who won a record-breaking 1.2 Million pot on Hustler Casino Live, was seen donning a jacket with lighting all over it. Keating captioned his post as, “Poker in a cave with the boys!”
Is there anything Mr Keating can’t pull off (million dollar bluffs and misreading hands)? Keating made headlines when he misread his hole cards and thoughts he has deuces when he actually had fives. The controversial figure called a 100K raise on High Stakes poker which gave everyone watching some chills.
Even the commentators on that stream were left flummoxed as to why Keating made that call with pocket fives. The board had 6d 3c 9s 6s 2s and that gave Keating the impression that he had a full house. But sadly the reality was that Keating only had two pairs (66, 55) and his rival Jean-Robert Bellande (JRB) had As 7s; he hit a flush on the river and there was no saving for Keating.
When the cards were revealed it was game over for JRB’s opponent and a shocker for Keating and others watching that players do misread their hands despite the game being a high stakes one.

Keating again pulled a bluff against Rob Yong. The former played with 96s and Yong had 75o. The board had Td 3s 4h Ac 5h and river bet saw Keating throw $160K into the pot which made Yong fold his mid-pair. Keating looks like has mastered the bluff part, just the hand reading needs improvement (LOL!).
