WATCH: Zarvan Tumboli’s Winning Hand In Poker Dream Malaysia Main Event

2023 was a fantastic year for Zarvan Tumboli and he’s certainly made his New Year’s resolution to better his live event stats in 2024. Currently, he’s playing at Poker Dream 8 Malaysia at the Genting Highlands, where the series was scheduled between 25 Jan – 5 Feb 2024. He won a side event a few days ago and this morning, he went on to win the prestigious Main Event title as well.

It’s his last day there and the last day of the series, and he decided to end it on a high. He went into the final table as the chip leader and kept everyone informed about his progress through his Instagram Stories. Tumboli went into the final three also as the chip leader and eventually, brought the Main Event trophy home, sharing the final moments on his social media once again.

The heads-up opponents went all-in and there was a lot of anticipation on both rails as the dealer opened the flop, turn, and river. India’s Zarvan Tumboli had pocket deuces and he went on to hit a set on the flop itself, and his opponent couldn’t get his desired cards in the next couple of cards drawn from the deck. The Poker Dream 8 Malaysia Main Event had a total of 8 flights and Day 2 was played on 4th Feb 2024. Tumboli had a great day at the felts at finished with a big stack going into the final 9 players, which resumed this morning, 5th February 2024. From there, no one could stop the live poker beast from getting another title.

The Main Event had a RM 2 Million guaranteed prize pool, and the Mumbai-based pro took home the biggest chunk from this pie. Just 35 days into the new year, and he’s already winning live titles left, right and center. Last year, Vietnam was his main hunting ground and now he seems to want to expand his supremacy into Malaysia as well. Read more about this victory here.

When it comes to live poker scene in the Asian circuit, Tumboli has been acing his game like never before. Be it Asian Poker Tour (APT), World Poker Tour (WPT), or Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP), this pro has shown his impeccable skills on the live felts to take down top titles and make deep runs in the poker tournaments. Where Tumboli goes in the future to hunt his next live title is yet to be known. But one thing is for sure, that he won’t return without showcasing some fireworks at the felts.
