WPT Prime Cambodia 2023 NagaWorld Millions: Vikaash Shah Is The Runner-up, Zarvan Tumboli Finishes 4th

Two Indian pros made it to the final table of WPT NagaWorld Millions event at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2023 at the Nagaworld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh. Vikaash Shah finished runner-up at the event and pocketed $35,170. Spartan Poker pro India’s Zarvan Tumboli has finished fourth and cashed $15,150.

The event was a $550 buy-in event, with a guarantee of $150,000. The two-day event attracted a total of 508 entries across three starting flights, out of which the top 53 players made it to Day 2. Tumboli entered Day 2 among the top stacks. 

NagaWorld Millions FT

Shah lost the title to Taiwan’s female poker pro Maggie Chien Chih Weng. Shah had K2 against Weng’s J4 on the A ♣ 8 ♦ 4 ♣ 4 ♠ T ❤ board. Weng cashed $50,150 along with the WPT trophy for her top finish.

Tumboli was regularly sharing updates about his Nagaworld Millions Day 2 whereabouts too. The Spartan Poker pro was leading the field at the break before making it to the FT. Interestingly, Tumboli was busted at the hands of fellow countryman Shah. Tumboli with KJ on the button succumbed against Shah’s A9 at the big blind on the 7 ❤ T ♠ A ❤ 8 ♠ 7 ♠ board. Post his fourth-place finish, Tumboli headed straight to gorge on some good food.

 

Zarvan Tumboli Ships Main Event Satty

Yesterday, the Mumbai-based player shipped the Main Event satellite. He posted the update on his Instagram story, pointing out that it was, in fact, poker pro Romit Advani who asked Tumboli to play the satellite with him and give him company . 

Other Indians like Harsh Bubna, Arun Sriram, and Rajeev Kanjani, among others, had also advanced to Day 2. We are yet to receive updates about their progress.
