Zarvan Tumboli And Alok Birewar Make FT In WPT Vietnam BIG PLO

Zarvan Tumboli and Alok Birewar are making all the right moves at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Vietnam Passport to World Championship 2023. The two Indian poker pros made the final table of the BIG PLO event and are expected to dominate.

Tumboli shared the news of him making FT alongside Birewar on his Instagram Stories. Kicked off on 6th October and set to go on for 10 days, the WPT Vietnam Passport to World Championship 2023 has multiple events running currently.

Indian contingent made its presence felt at this year’s WPT Vietnam with players like Sriharsha Doddapaneni and Sameer Agarwal shipping trophies and grabbing headlines.

Sriharsha Doddapaneni shipped the Megastack High Roller event. The Indian high stakes pro walked away with a payday of VND 824,500,000 (~₹28,10,344) while Agarwal won the Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) Turbo event which was his first-ever WPT title as he pocketed a sum of VND 87,000,000 (~₹2,96,543) for his performance. 

Indian players like Avneesh Munjal, J Raju, Amit Kaushik, Deepankur Gupta, Deepak Bothra among others are also hunting titles at this event. The WPT Vietnam Passport to World Championship 2023 has VN₫ 35 Billion (~US$ 1.43 Million) in guaranteed prize pools on offer.

Coming back to the Big PLO event the buy-in for this event sat at 13,20000  with the players handed a 30K starting stack with late registration allowed till Level 10. (17:35 local time)
