Zain Mulji makes a big Roar on Adda52

As a poker player in India, there are only a handful of top poker websites that you would consider if you want to be a part of huge tournaments with massive guarantees and good structures. One of these websites is Adda52, a company that hosts daily featured tournaments with varying buy-ins and guarantees.

Adda52 recently came out with a few new tournaments like the Maverick and Go Goa, the latter allowing you to win tickets to the WPT India series which will take place in Goa next month. However, the Monday featured tournament called The Roar is still in place and the last edition of this tournament took place a few days back to start the week.

The Roar INR 7 lakh GTD took off as scheduled at 8pm on Monday night and the INR 4,400 tournament saw a tough field as it does each week. At the end of the tournament, the player to walk away with the biggest prize of the night and to kick away those Monday blues was Zain Mulji, who plays under the name ‘prosharker’.

Beating these strong fields is never easy and Mulji would’ve been very proud of this victory that he gained after beating ‘alwaysnutz’ in heads-up. He earned the massive top prize of INR 2,24,000 and this would’ve been a healthy addition to his poker bankroll. Gutshot caught up with Mulji after he took down this Adda52 tournament.

He said, “At one point, I was looking like I’d be out on 12th place and was down to 2,000 chips and then a few hands turned the tables over. It’s one tourney I’d probably never forget as I seriously put in effort to win this and when you win it, there’s no better feeling.” He also added, “Adda52 is the best place to play poker and any one can find action at any stakes.”
