Another busy day in the lives of poker players grinding the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online on GG Network. It was only in Event #55 that India’s Kunal Bhatia finished 3rd for a whopping cash prize following which Seth ‘AbeFroman’ Fischer and Anatoly ‘Pohitrusha’ Suvarov took down Event #56 and Event #57, respectively.
The 56th event garnered a field of 2,153 entries, surpassing the guaranteed amount and collecting prize pool of $3.06 million. After 14 hours of intense grinding Seth ‘AbeFroman’ Fischer claimed his first bracelet for $444,869 along with an exciting WSOP Europe Package. It was in 2008 when Fischer came close to winning a bracelet but finished in the second place. So far, the champion has cashed 28 times in WSOP events totalling to $533,387. And with this payday, he is now close to $1 million mark!
Several Indians including ‘raavan’ (26th, $12,129), ‘Joka240’ (66th, $6,270), ‘vamos231’ (126th, $4,317), ‘Metalhead98’ (207, $3,495), ‘effuno99’ (237th, $$3,495), ‘tbonerazor’ (243rd, $2,495), ‘shoonya’ (277th, $2,145) and so on also collected a min-cash.
The final hand of the tournament saw Fischer shove from the button and Karmatckii called for the 2.1 million he had left after paying the big blind.
The board ran and Fischer stayed ahead to win the tournament and the WSOP Europe package while Karmatckii earned $328,491 for finishing as the runner-up.
Final Table Payouts
It was Russia’s Anatoly ‘Pohitrusha’ Suvarov to take down WSOP Event #57: $150 GGMasters WSOP Edition that accumulated a prize pool of $1.35 million and Suvarov claimed the biggest slice and added $183,526 to his poker wallet. The champion knocked out David ‘Duvidl18′ Edelstein in heads-up and clinched to his career-best score. Suvorov has over $170K lifetime earnings, his most recent live cash was for 44th place in $1,015 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event (Event #1) at WSOP International Circuit – WSOPC Russia, Sochi in 2019.
On the final hand, Edelstein raised to 3.2 million, Suvarov three-bet to 9.3 million. Edelstein shoved for 42 million and Suvarov called it off with .
Eventually, the board ran and Suvarov eliminated Edelstein to claim the coveted bracelet while the latter was left with $127,872 for second place.
