WPT Vietnam releases Sep schedule

The World Poker Tour (WPT) has recently released details about its upcoming event in the country of Vietnam. The event set is to take place from 26 September to 04 October at the Pro Poker Club in Ho Chi Minh CIty.

There are 14 events on schedule and they will be headlined by the VND 22 million (~INR 68,000) WPT Vietnam Main Event which has VND 4 billion (~INR 1.21 Crores) guarantee in place. So one can expect a minimum of 700 runners to participate in this event. Another major tournament in the schedule is Highroller event which is double the buy-in of the Main Event. Given Vietnam’s proximity to India, a fairly large contingent from ther should be heading to Ho Chi Minh City. In recent times, the Pro Poker Club has been hosting a number of big events which also includes the Asian Poker Tour which also saw a sizeable Indian participation.
